Pranav Menon is a data analyst specializing in Medicare and Medicaid data. Pranav’s analyses leverage data insights to inform decision-making in healthcare policy and practice. His solutions-based mindset drives him to contribute to efforts aimed at improving healthcare in the United States.

At Health Management Associates, Pranav works within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC), analyzing claims data for numerous clients and projects. Pranav also has experience analyzing claims and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data to evaluate Accountable Care Organization (ACO) performance from his time with Signify Health, a CVS Health subsidiary.

Throughout his career, Pranav has focused his work in the healthcare sector and on health disparities. He has conducted research in Puerto Rico to determine cancer trend burdens within the HIV population and held an internship with the New Mexico Kidney Foundation. Pranav also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia as a maternal and child health specialist. There he gained a unique public health perspective that helped shape his interests in data analytics, population health, community partnership, and project sustainability.

Pranav has a master’s degree in public health with a focus on epidemiology from Tulane University and a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
