Before joining Health Management Associates, Eric was managing director of the AI and Data Centers of Excellence (CoEs) at General Services Administration (GSA), an executive branch agency of the United States government. Eric oversaw product and modernization teams at over 10 agencies focusing on IT modernization and product development. Eric also provided executive sponsorship for the government-wide Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice, more than doubling membership for inter-agency forum promoting ethical and effective deployment of AI and machine learning over three years.

Eric is also well-versed in product development, leveraging his technical proficiency to design innovative business solutions. As a data scientist with Booz Allen Hamilton, Eric developed multiple data products that saved taxpayer money, improved service delivery for key sectors of government, and built a consistent line of business for the firm.
