Elrycc Berkman is a consulting actuary with experience in Medicaid managed care rate development, risk corridor and medical loss ratio (MLR) calculations, and Medicaid program financial and reimbursement modeling, trend and enrollment projections, efficiency modeling, and risk adjustment development and application. In his role at Edrington Health Consulting (EHC), an HMA Company, Elrycc helps clients manage their resources by providing healthcare analytics, strategy, and policy support. 

Prior to joining HMA, Elrycc was a senior manager/consulting actuary at CBIZ Optumas. In this role, he developed and certified Medicaid managed care capitation rates, managed MLTSS and PACE rates, and developed and implemented a value-based purchasing program. He managed multiple projects, developed written communications, and presented the results of analyses to various stakeholders, including state clients, managed care organizations, provider groups, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). He also supervised and mentored new staff and interns and established goals for professional development, provided training and resources, and oversaw billable hour goals. 

Elrycc earned a Master of Science in statistics from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Western Oregon University. 

Elrycc enjoys golfing, walking his two dogs, and doing puzzles with his wife. He grew up in Oregon but currently resides in Arizona and is a Seattle Seahawks fan.
