Diana Rodin has more than 15 years of experience conducting policy analysis and program evaluations, providing technical assistance and developing programs related to public health and healthcare systems, with a particular focus on reproductive health.
With Health Management Associates, Diana conducts qualitative case study research and policy analysis for government and foundation clients, covering a range of topics, such as maternal and child health programs. From 2013 to 2018, she participated in the federal evaluation of enhanced perinatal care models in Medicaid, including birth center care and group prenatal care, through the Strong Start for Mothers and Newborns Initiative. She also led the development of a study examining strategies to increase access to post-partum care and supports resulting from that evaluation, published in the Journal of Women’s Health in 2019.
Diana is an experienced grant writer, program developer and strategic planner working in collaboration with health and human services organizations. She provides technical assistance to community-based organizations, supporting state efforts to reduce racial disparities in infant mortality, and to community-based health consortia to develop multi-sectoral health improvement efforts.
Diana previously worked for a state Medicaid director’s office and at a public health-focused communications firm. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a master’s degree in health policy and management from the University of California at Berkeley School of Public Health.
