Karis Burnett is a proactive, talented, and self-motivated data analyst with a passion for using her skills to alleviate inequities within the healthcare system. 

In her role as data analyst at Wakely Consulting Group, an HMA Company, Karis manages 42 publicly available healthcare focused databases across three different servers and effectively communicates the contents of these datasets as needed. She curates public data into useful tables for consultants and analysts using Python and SQL and parses data from multiple different file formats. She is also experienced in creating effective data visualizations and analyzing claims and cost share reconciliation data.

Prior to her current role, Karis was an administrative assistant at Wakely Consulting Group. In this role, she assisted in the coordination of 20 RFPs and ensured requirements were met. She managed the budget for the company culture committee for two years and allocated funds to 10 different organizations. She also reviewed data from Google Analytics to determine target market acquisition and website views.

In Karis’ previous roles as assistant manager with Offbeat LLC and wellness advocate/brand partner with doTerra, she developed her customer service, leadership and public speaking skills. She managed over 20 employees and interviewed, hired and trained new staff, ensured licensing and health/safety compliance standards were met, and developed successful marketing and advertising campaigns.

Karis has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Colorado State University Global Campus and a data analyst certificate from the University of Denver.
